[Newsletter] Navigating Your Health Journey: Your Guide to a Healthy and Fun-Filled Summer!

Hey Reader!

Summer is here, and it’s the perfect time for BBQs, camping trips, and vacations! 🌞🍔🏕️✈️ As you enjoy all the fun activities this season has to offer, remember that staying on track with your health goals doesn’t mean missing out.

Here’s a recap of the top tips from our recent newsletters to help you navigate your health journey all summer long.

1. Plan Ahead but Stay Flexible

Whether you’re at a BBQ, on a camping trip, or vacationing, a little planning goes a long way. Prepare healthy snacks and meals in advance to ensure you have nutritious options on hand. But remember, flexibility is key – enjoy the moment without striving for perfection.

2. Smart Food Choices

BBQs: Opt for lean proteins like grilled chicken or fish, and fill your plate with veggies. Choose lighter sides like vinegar-based coleslaw or mixed green salads.

Camping: Pack healthy snacks like trail mix, fruits, and cut veggies. Foil packets with lean proteins and veggies are great for campfire cooking.

Vacations: Look for balanced meals at restaurants and stock your hotel mini-fridge with healthy staples like yogurt and fresh fruit.

3. Portion Control and Mindful Indulgence

Use smaller plates to help control portions at BBQs, and savor each bite of your favorite treats. Enjoy camping treats like s’mores in moderation, and balance indulgences with healthier meals when dining out on vacation.

4. Stay Hydrated

Keep hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day. This is especially important when you’re outdoors or traveling. Carry a reusable water bottle, and if you’re enjoying alcoholic beverages, alternate with water to stay balanced.

5. Stay Active

BBQs: Join in on activities like frisbee or a walk around the park.

Camping: Go for hikes, swim, or do a morning yoga session.

Vacations: Explore your destination on foot, rent bikes, or try a local fitness class.

6. Balance and Enjoyment

Balance is the key to enjoying summer activities while staying healthy. Indulge mindfully, stay active, and most importantly, have fun! Remember, it’s not just about physical health but also about relaxing and recharging.

7. Mental Well-Being

Take time to de-stress and enjoy the moments, whether it’s reading a book on the beach, meditating in nature, or simply spending quality time with loved ones.

Summer is all about making memories and having a great time. With these tips, you can enjoy all the fun activities while staying on track with your health goals.

Kari's Story: A Heart Wall of Fuzzy Blankets Years ago, Kari discovered she had an emotional barrier, known as a Heart Wall, which she personally worked on removing. She found it to be “27 miles thick” and made entirely of fuzzy blankets. While...

Hey Reader! Imagine being in a bunker. It’s a secure place that protects you from external threats. However, just as living in a bunker comes with limitations, so does having an emotional barrier: Isolation: While a bunker keeps you safe, it also keeps you isolated. Emotional barriers can make it difficult to connect with others, leaving you feeling alone even when surrounded by people. Limited View: In a bunker, your view is restricted, just as your ability to fully experience emotions and...

Hey Reader! I hope you enjoyed learning about Heart Walls in my previous email. Today, I want to talk about the transformative changes you can experience once your Heart Wall is released. The Power of Releasing Your Heart Wall Letting go of your Heart Wall can lead to profound shifts in your life, opening up new possibilities for emotional and physical well-being. Enhanced Emotional Connection: Without the barrier of a Heart Wall, you can connect more deeply and authentically with others....
